Early immigration
Over the past 40 years, migration levels have doubled. This is partially because of the ever growing population rates, which leads to the ever decreasing employment rates. Just 15% of the world population live in the 22 rich countries. In the 1990's, New Zealand had 10-20% of the whole population as migrants.
